Center for Women’s Leadership
Through dedicated research, education and skill training, the Center for Women’s Leadership empowers women in Oregon to embrace their voice, lead confidently, and change the narrative of women in leadership. The Center runs the Girls: Oregon, Action, Leadership, Service program. The YWCA of Greater Portland and Girls Inc of the Pacific NW are co-conveners.

Traci Rossi

Traci has spent her career in service to women and emerging student leaders. Prior to joining the Center, Traci led Innovative Changes, which provides financial knowledge, products and services to overlooked and underserved communities, including women and communities of color. Prior to that role, she was vice president for programs at the “I  Have a Dream” Foundation – Oregon, where she built out then led the first Dreamer School in the country. 

Bernice Benade

Bernice Benade joined the Center for Women’s Leadership as a student worker in 2013. Bernice graduated from Portland State University with a B.S in Business Administration with a focus in Management, Leadership & Human Resources.  Prior to transferring to Portland State University, Bernice received her Associates degree from Portland Community College. She is also a 2014 NEW Leadership Oregon Alumna.
